The Elves and the Shoemaker
In English this week we have been reading the story of The Elves and the Shoemaker: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qniiw8y4H3A The children have taken part in different activities related to the story. They have written about their favourite of the story, written speech bubbles for the different characters and made puppets of the characters from the story. In Maths this week the children have focused on counting and ordering numbers. Some of the children have enjoyed exploring colouring with paints. They have used yellow, red and blue to make different colours and then used them to paint pictures. The children have continued to develop their social skills by sharing the equipment and playing in small groups.
